Biography
I am a native New Yorker, educated at Georgetown and Yale.
Went West, helped found an experimental college -- Johnston -- then spent the next 42 years teaching philosophy, always and still filled with wonder.
I live in Los Angeles with my beloved English professor spouse, two dogs, three cats, plus a family of five feral cats. A menagerie!
Interests
Philosophy, dogs, cemeteries, religious belief, technology, history of all kinds.
